Mission to Nekrasov

We arrive in Nemirov in 2010 with the desire to visit a very important place, the Nikolay Alekseevich Nekrasov Orphanage.
A structure that shows its age but is dignified and efficient. We meet the staff and Director Kondratuk Vasil Yakovic, who welcomes us with a smile and is willing to listen to our intentions for free and selfless support.


The Association has approved the “Distance Support” project for orphaned children in public facilities, considering that many of our members/supporters have expressed a desire to help and support children, especially orphans.


We will sign the commitment for support of the orphanage with the director and start bringing toys and clothes. The children appreciate it very much.
Today, March 2022, the war is here and there is a great need for everything.

Mission in Krasnohrad

The commitment of Pobic (at the time Anpobic) began in eastern Ukraine in 2005. We went to the city of Krasnohrad, in the Kharkiv Oblast, in the eastern part of Ukraine, we could say in the province of Kharkiv (Kharkiv or Kharkov). 

 

Poverty and resignation have affected us as much as the smiles and the desire to be helped. We therefore began to support these poor but very dignified people. Our commitment has taken the form of donations of goods (clothes and shoes) and financial support through the “Distance Support” project, prioritizing families with disabled children.

 

Today in Krasnohrad, there is war, and from that place comes a cry of pain and help that we cannot ignore. We must commit ourselves to at least offering sustenance, as much as possible, to these poor and unfortunate people.

2023: An ambulance donated for a destroyed one.

This is what remains of the only ambulance in the city of Nemirov, Ukraine.
A part of a Russian missile, partially destroyed by Ukrainian forces, fatally crashed into the emergency rescue vehicle.

For a community like Nemirov, a very serious social tragedy.
Here is why, as Pobic, in a completely emergency manner, we donated this ambulance (photo), decommissioned in Italy for rescue, but which remains fully operational.

And that's not all.
In the images below is the collection of clothing and medicine carried out in the same project by POBIC. The situation in Ukraine has revealed the fragilities of a united and proud population, which needs all of our contribution.

As many lives as possible must be saved and assisted.

The collection was loaded directly onto the ambulance and transported to its destination by the president of the POBIC Ukraine association, Mikola Segeda.
