A fragile heart, an urgent surgery: Jeremiah needs us.

Jeremiah is 11 years old and has lived since birth with a congenital heart defect that would have required surgery in his early years. A time that unfortunately could not be met.

Last week, we welcomed him at Linate Airport.

It was a moment we had anticipated, carefully prepared for. But when we met him, his condition immediately worried us. The time for waiting was over. It was time to act. Within a few hours, a decision crucial to his life was made.

Urgent transfer to Gaslini Hospital in Genoa

Jeremiah was urgently transferred to Gaslini Hospital, a national and international center of reference for pediatric cardiology. He was immediately taken care of and admitted to the hospital. The situation remains delicate, but as of today, Jeremiah is being monitored by an expert team that is carefully and attentively checking every parameter.

 

In these moments, it's not just diagnoses that matter. What matters are the speed of decisions, the competence of professionals, and the ability to activate an effective care network.

Pediatric cardiology and pre-operative visits

In the next few days, Jeremiah will undergo all the necessary pre-operative examinations to assess the methods and timing of the surgery.

 

Each exam serves to precisely define the clinical picture, reduce risks, and build the safest possible path.
