In a context still marked by strong tensions and ongoing risks for the civilian population, a new humanitarian operation has allowed concrete aid to be brought to the city of Kharkiv, one of the areas most affected by the conflict in Ukraine.
Despite a particularly complex weekend in terms of operations and security, colleague Olga, present in the area, managed to receive approximately 15 tons of personal hygiene products intended to support 1,545 internally displaced persons.
It's about an initiative of great humanitarian importance, especially considering that at least 60% of the beneficiaries are people with disabilities, often among the most vulnerable categories and most exposed to the consequences of war, isolation, and the lack of essential services.
The supply includes essential materials for daily care and hygiene, goods that in emergency situations take on fundamental value not only from a health perspective, but also from the standpoint of personal dignity and the protection of living conditions for people forced to leave their homes.
The operation was made possible thanks to the project “Acqua Viva 04/UCr/13157/2026”, funded by AICS Kyiv, and represents a further step in supporting Ukrainian civil communities that continue to live the daily consequences of the conflict.
In territories where access to essential goods can become extremely difficult, collaboration between local operators, humanitarian organizations, and international partners helps ensure the continuity of aid and concrete support to the most vulnerable people.
Through interventions like this, POBIC continues to support humanitarian aid activities for populations affected by war, contributing to the distribution of essential goods and the support of the most vulnerable segments of the civilian population.
In situations of forced displacement, access to personal hygiene products represents an essential, often underestimated, need. Soap, detergents, personal care products, and other everyday materials contribute not only to the prevention of health problems, but also to preserve the dignity and well-being of people living in particularly vulnerable conditions.
Enrico has been working in digital marketing and communication for over ten years. His personal journey, which has also included difficult moments and new beginnings, has taught him to recognize the value of vulnerabilities and people. Today he is an active part of Pobic's communication team: he manages the website, writes content, and helps tell stories of projects and testimonials with respect, concreteness, and authenticity. For him, communicating does not mean making reality look better, but rather conveying it with dignity and making it feel closer.
