In 2010 we arrived in Nemirov driven by the desire to get to know a fragile yet significant reality.
L’Nekrasov Orphanage, though marked by time, it immediately appeared to us as a dignified and carefully managed structure.
The director was there to welcome us Kondratuk Vasil Yakovic, who kindly and readily listened to our proposals. From that first meeting, the project of was born Distance Support, designed to help orphan children welcomed into public facilities.
Thanks to the support of our members and supporters, we were able to launch a mission in Ukraine tangible: toys, clothes, and essential goods were collected and delivered regularly.
The children welcomed every gesture with enthusiasm and gratitude, and each visit strengthened the bond between Pobic and this community.
In 2022, with the outbreak of war in Ukraine, the context has changed dramatically. The’Ukraine emergency It also hit already fragile structures hard, such as the Nekrasov orphanage.
Needs have multiplied, and so has the urgency of our presence.
Today, in 2025, the mission in Ukraine Continue. Despite everything, Pobic continues to be present in the area, with targeted interventions close to the people.
