When a war drags on over time, international attention risks diminishing before the needs of the population.

<\/p>

However, for those living in the Kharkiv region, the emergency is not distant news. It continues to impact daily life, access to essential goods, and the ability to care for oneself in dignified conditions.<\/p>


It is in this context that the project continues Acqua Viva 04\/UCr\/13157\/2026<\/strong>, funded by AICS Kyiv<\/strong> and created with the direct participation of POBIC ONG<\/strong>.<\/p>


As of June 30, they have been distributed 1,089 personal hygiene kits<\/strong> in the communities of the Kharkiv region. A concrete result, marking the transition from the availability of aid to its actual distribution on the ground.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

From the 15 tons of products to distribution in the communities<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In previous update on the Acqua Viva project<\/a>, POBIC had reported the arrival in Kharkiv of about 15 tons of personal care products<\/strong>.<\/p>

The new data documents the next phase of the intervention: the materials received were organized into kits and progressively distributed to the recipient communities.<\/p>


It is not just about quantifying the aid delivered. Each distribution represents a response to a daily need that, in a situation of war and displacement, can become difficult to meet.<\/p>

He 40% of the kits distributed<\/strong> it was allocated as a priority to people in conditions of particular vulnerability and need, including people with disabilities and the elderly.<\/strong><\/p>

The allocation was made based on an assessment of specific needs, in order to direct support toward those who may face greater difficulties in independently accessing essential goods.<\/p>

It is an important element of the project: not an indiscriminate distribution, but an intervention attentive to the conditions of individuals and the inequalities that war tends to worsen.<\/strong><\/p>

For an elderly person or a person with a disability, in fact, the interruption of services, the loss of their support networks, and difficulties in getting around can make it even more complex to obtain even what is needed for daily care.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
