mission launched in 2012 in Ivory Coast, the Pobic association chose to pair the supply of rescue vehicles with another fundamental intervention: the training of local healthcare personnel.<br><br>In a context where infrastructure was minimal and the number of doctors extremely low, the ability to build skills directly on the ground represented a strategic priority.\n\n<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a17b23c and M\u2019Batto, areas of intervention for the mission, were characterized by limited access to health services and the almost total absence of structured emergency protocols.<\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"772\" data-end=\"1199\"><br data-start=\"984\" data-end=\"987\" \/>At the time medical transport vehicles were introduced through the Emergency Transport project, it was clear that without adequate training, their impact would be partial and short-lived.<\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"1201\" data-end=\"1397\">Pobic's response was to initiate <strong data-start=\"1248\" data-end=\"1279\">technical training courses<\/strong>, focus on basic but essential procedures, such as <strong data-start=\"1338\" data-end=\"1376\">cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)<\/strong> on adults and children.<\/p><h2 class=\"\" data-start=\"1399\" data-end=\"1434\">\u00a0<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-47a6c50 \/>The courses were aimed at:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1613\" data-end=\"1695\"><li class=\"\" data-start=\"1613\" data-end=\"1647\"><p class=\"\" data-start=\"1615\" data-end=\"1647\">Hospital doctors and nurses.<\/p><\/li><li class=\"\" data-start=\"1648\" data-end=\"1695\"><p class=\"\" data-start=\"1650\" data-end=\"1695\">Paramedical staff of the outlying villages.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p class=\"\" data-start=\"1697\" data-end=\"1898\">Operators were trained to recognize critical situations, perform initial life-saving maneuvers, and correctly use the emergency equipment available on board the ambulances.<\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"1697\" data-end=\"1898\">\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"1900\" data-end=\"2247\">A key element of Pobic's training approach was the transfer of learning tools: the manikins used for training were <strong data-start=\"2063\" data-end=\"2100\">donations to the Bongouanou hospital<\/strong> at the end of the mission, thereby allowing local personnel to continue practicing and updating their skills independently.<\/p><h2 class=\"\" data-start=\"2249\" data-end=\"2272\">\u00a0<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div without the immediate intervention of external specialists.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p class=\"\" data-start=\"3016\" data-end=\"3224\">These results helped strengthen the local emergency network established with the Emergency Transport project, making rescue operations in the rural areas of C\u00f4te d'Ivoire more efficient and safer.<\/p><h2 class=\"\" data-start=\"3226\" As medical transport vehicles were introduced through the Emergency Transport project, it was clear that without adequate training, their impact would be limited and short-lived.
